Every time you do ajapajapa, just take a few seconds to feel the high pitch eee sound (presence) and ask yourself "how are you feeling right now
Your goal is to be in control of your energies so that surrender is happening and not let the whirlpool of thoughts to cause emotional disturbances in your inner space.
By dwelling mentally on the situation, event, or person that is the perceived cause of the emotion, the thought feeds energy to the emotion, which in turn energizes the thought pattern, and so on.
